With the help of attending their tutor for math, I was able to bring my math grade up by a lot. He enjoys the classes and is learning a lot from the teachers like Mr. Ji.  Class sizes are small so he receives alot of personalized attention. Mr Whang is always communicative with parents and takes the time to answer every question thoughtfully. We really appreciate how dedicated and supportive he is.

I thought he needed help, so we tried several teachers. Then we met Teacher Leon, who teaches physics at ICMS, and he helped my son understand the basic concepts much better. Now, my son feels much more confident and really enjoys studying physics with him. Teacher Leon explains physics very well, especially with a strong focus on basic concepts. He also helps students build strong problem-solving skills through a variety of practice problems and prepares them very well for AP Physics tests. I strongly recommend him!

From the very beginning, it was clear that he genuinely cares about his students and their success. He takes the time to make sure concepts are fully understood, breaking down difficult topics in a way that is clear and approachable.

Because of how well he explains the material, we quickly saw our child’s confidence grow. Chemistry had been a challenging subject for her in the beginning of the semester, but after just a few sessions she started approaching problems with much more confidence. Along with that increase in confidence, her grades improved as well.

What we appreciate most is his patience, encouragement, and the effort he puts into making sure students truly grasp the material rather than just memorizing it. It’s clear he is invested in helping his students succeed both in the class and in understanding the subject.

어려울 수 있는 Chemistry 과목을 이해하기 쉽게 설명해주셔서 학교 수업도 부담 없이 잘 따라가고 있습니다.
매달 리포트카드를 통해 아이의 성적과 학습 상황을 세심하게 체크해주시고, 앞으로의 방향까지 함께 관리해주셔서 부모 입장에서 정말 든든합니다.

From the children's perspective, by explaining the principles in an easy way and always briefly reviewing the key points of previous classes, he created an atmosphere of independent exploration in science and math subjects, and our entire family is satisfied. 안녕하세요. Rutgers University - New Brunswick에서 학부 졸업 후 현재 UCSD에서 Chemistry&Biochemistry 박사 과정 공부하고 있는 학생입니다. 지치영 선생님은 기본부터 심화까지 정말 이해하기 쉽게 설명해주십니다. 기초가 부족하면 기초부터 탄탄히 이해할 수 있도록 지도 해주시고 어려운 개념이나 문제가 나와도 차근차근 해결 할 수 있는 방법을 알려주십니다. 어떤 질문이든 정말 친절하게 설명해주셔서 눈치보거나 망설이지 않고 궁금한 것을 다 물어볼 수 있다는 점이 가장 좋았습니다.

각 과목에 대한 이해도에 따라서 다양한 방법으로 수업 해주시고 어떻게 공부하면 좋을지 학습 방법도 잘 알려주십니다. 선생님이 정말 친절하시고 수업 받은지 오랜 시간 지났지만 지금도 잘 연락하고 지냅니다~

샘이랑 고등학교 10학년때부터 대학교때까지 쭉 과외를 받았습니다! 샘이랑 처음에 바이오 수업을 들었을때는 샘이 1대1수업인데 조는건 처음봤다고 말할정도로 공부에도 관심이 전혀없었고 기초도 엄청 부족했었는데 처음으로 공부에 대해 흥미를 가진게 샘이랑 공부하고부터입니다!! 샘이랑은 진짜 다양한 과목들 (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Math)로 과외를 했습니다! 특히 고등학교때부터 수학에 대해서 기초가 전혀없어서 샘이랑 기초부터 튼튼히 다져서 나중에 chemical engineering이라는 과에 들어갈때도 도움이 많이 되었습니다!

샘은 수업을 가르치실때 엄청 열정 넘치십니다. 저는 진짜 이해가안가면 절대 못넘어가는데 제가 진짜 한 100번 물어봐도 100번 설명해주시고 전혀 눈치볼 필요없이 너무 기초적인 질문도 할수있어서 기초를 탄탄히 배울수있었습니다. 저는 원래 앉아서 공부도 절대못하는 사람인데 샘이랑 공부를 하면할수록 모르는것들이 계속 생겨나지만 그 질문에 대답을 해줄수있는 분이있어서 더더욱 공부에 흥미를 가지고 열중할수있던거같습니다! 대학교에 와서는 고등학교때에 다른 레벨의 물리와 화학 때문에 엄청 힘들었는데 샘이랑 계속해서 수업을 한 결과 좋은 성적으로 패스도할수있었습니다! 그리고 이러한 기초들을 배우고나서는 다양한 문제들로 심화과정까지 배울수있습니다! 언제 내가 이런 문제들까지 풀수있지? 이렇게 생각이 들정도로 샘이랑 한 모든 시간들이 너무 소중하고 배운점이 많습니다. 저한테 선생님이 누구냐고 물어본다 당연히 지치영 샘이라고 말할수있을정도로 지금의 저에게 다양한 배움을 주신분입니다!!!!!!! 정말 꼼꼼하고 친절하시고 열정도 넘치는 샘한테 공부를 배울수있어서 정말 다행입니다!! 좋은학교에서 Chemical Engineering이라는 힘든 전공으로 졸업을해서 결국은 취업까지 할수있었던 과정중 샘한테서 배운 모든것들은 계속해서 필요할꺼라고 생각이듭니다!! 너무 주작같이 적었는데 사실 샘은 너무 좋은 선생님이라서 직접 샘한테 수업을 들으면 무슨말인지 진짜 알꺼에요,,!!

Professor Whang helped to guide me through my math journey from algebra 1 through calculus. He is a very thoughtful and charismatic individual who thoroughly describes concepts to his students and gives them plenty of examples so that we not only know how to solve the problem but understand the concept.

I am a freshman in highschool and in the beginning of the year I was in geometry honors without doing algebra one so it was very difficult. I told my mom I think I need a tutor so I met Chi teacher! He is great with teaching and helping. Goes step by step which is helpful because I am kind of a slow learner.
