Professor Whang helped to guide me through my math journey from algebra 1 through calculus. He is a very thoughtful and charismatic individual who thoroughly describes concepts to his students and gives them plenty of examples so that we not only know how to solve the problem but understand the concept. He helped me to develop my critical and analytical thinking skills which now allows me to flourish as a student at UCSD. Professor Whang is not just someone who will teach you math but a brother who wants to guide you in the right path to success. If you want to be prepared for Advanced Placement and college level mathematics, he is the man!
